The solution for this attic was to air seal and install SilverGlo panels to the walls of the attic. This homeowner in New Fairfield, CT had existing insulation in their attic and decided to contact Dr. Energy Saver of CT. After scheduling an appointment, our Sales Representative, Keith Saunders, went to the home to help the homeowners understand their issue. They were in need of new attic insulation that would keep the cool air from coming in and the warm air from seeping out. Our foreman Jony Fernandez and his team got to work and blew our TruSoft Cellulose into the attic. Now this home is more energy efficient, keeping temperatures regulated!

They removed some of the existing insulation and then installed an insulated catwalk with retention dams to make sure this attic was still easily accessible for the homeowner. Then the crew blew in our TruSoft Cellulose insulation. This will act as a thermal barrier to the home, keeping it warm in the winter and cool in the summer, regulating the temperature properly all year round. The homeowner is thrilled with the results and knows their home is energy efficient!
