Crawl Space Insulation - Insufficient Barrier above Dirt Floor
This crawlspace originally had a dirt floor the homeowners covered with a plastic tarp, which is the equivalent of placing a stretchy black trash bag material everywhere. This is not protected against tears and is improperly sealed along the edges. This does not prevent moisture from the dirt seeping into the room.
