This house is 101 years old. It was built in 1910. The advice we have gotten to seal our basement and to insulate our walls and to make our house more energy efficient in this day and age, has been very helpful and we've been implementing these things through the process. We are very happy with all of the advice and all of the service that we have received. Dr. Energy Saver insulated our basement with a beautiful vapor barrier insulation system. The water problem in the basement has been rectified. We had no curtain drains, we had a water issue in the basement, and now all the basement has been sealed. We have had two major storms and everything is dry. Thank you very much!

We worked with you to have our attic sealed and insulated back in 2014. This past fall, we had you back to have our basement sealed, crawl space encapsulated, a new triple safe sump, a Sedona dehumidifier and we also had insulation blown into an area where our first floor overhangs the foundation. I am writing because the basement is amazingly warm and dry now but today especially I am appreciating the blown insulation. In the past, on days like today (-5/10 degrees), the floor in a section of our living room was so cold you couldn't walk on it with bare feet. Today we made a point of feeling it and even with the extreme cold outside, the floor felt great! Hi Steve,   Thank you so much for following up on me. The Sanidry Sedona De-humidifier is working wonderfully. The guys did a very nice job and were extremely professional with that. They made sure I had my unit, pump, and tubes placed exactly where I wanted them, and they went out of their way to make sure my unit was working properly. They even helped afterwards with registering my unit, and showed me how everything worked before they left.  As you know I had a terrible experience with another company that did the previous insulation on my attic. You went out of your way to make sure you answered all my questions and you definitely earned my trust. You were checking on me during the whole process, and even went out of your way afterwards to make sure the project was done correctly. I really couldn't thank you enough.   My attic not only looks great, but I literally do not even need to turn the heat on upstairs in my house. I put my heat on 68 degrees downstairs, and we are toasty throughout the whole house all day and night. The guys who came to do the attic were so thorough and understanding. I was able to see every step of the process and make sure everything was done correctly. Dr. Energy Saver Air sealed and insulated my basement rim joist and sill plate to stop air leaks in my Orange home. They did an excellent job stopping the air leaks and now im saving energy and money!

After having the States program (HES) come into my house and do as minimal as they could, gave me ten blue color type light bulbs i tossed, cracked my ceiling, and  calked one of my windows shut I felt it SCAMMED!. Then Dr. Energy came to my rescue!!! The sales person was  knowledgable, polite, and talked to me the way I could understand. Everything went better than expected. After a terrible experience with the States program I gave the energy thing one more try. Not only is my house more comfortable and saving money on my oil bill my whole house smells better from the dehumidifier they installed in my basement. No more musty smells! I would recommend Dr Energy Saver to anyone who wants a grade A job. The technicians were great the whole experience from the sales call to the final followup was one of the best experiences I have ever had from a contracting company.I would only consider DR Energy Saver to anyone who wants an experience like mine. Second: Rick Searles, who came to my home explained the process & showed me where I was losing heat, he also showed me that I had no insulation in my attic, where most of the heat was escaping. The main reason we contacted Dr. Energy Saver of Connecticut is that condensation was forming on our bathroom and kitchen ceilings. When I saw the problem getting worse, I knew that we needed to improve our attic’s insulation. After speaking with representatives from Dr. Energy Saver of Connecticut, they sent a team to my house to fully assess the issue, and I was incredibly impressed with everyone I encountered. I’m always weary about having salesmen in my home. I find the majority of them pushy, but Paul Zambrano was patient, understanding, and explained everything to us in detail. When it was time for the project to begin, the production crew maintained this standard too. Clive, Gabriel, and Oneil answered all of my questions as they worked and took extra precautions to prevent damage to my hardwood floors. They masterfully insulated and air-sealed my entire attic, and when they finished their work, they took care in cleaning up. I could hardly tell they had been there at all. Now, there is no more condensation forming anywhere, and our home is definitely more comfortable than ever before. One of the biggest changes we noticed is with our thermostat. We have a Nest thermostat that gives us reports on how long our boiler runs each day. Prior to this project, our thermostat showed the boiler turning on at a maximum of 5 ½ hours per day! Since the team from Dr. Energy Saver of Connecticut visited my home, the report shows that it now runs for only 3 hours and still keeps the house warm! I never knew how uncomfortable I was in my own home until I had this work done, and now I am using my boiler 30% less than before. I will certainly refer Dr. Energy Saver of Connecticut to others in the future and would tell them it is – without a doubt – the easiest way to make their home more comfortable and efficient.
