This Trumbull, CT attic was in particularly rough shape. The home was operating at an energy deficit, the attic was poorly insulated and underutilized. There was dirt, debris and fiberglass insulation scattered throughout the attic. The lack of attic insulation caused the area to be drafty in the winter and sweltering in the summer. To create a comfortable usable space, the homeowner contacted Dr. Energy Saver of Connecticut! The team kicked off this project by removing all the debris from the attic to see what they were working with.
