Old Insulation
This old insulation was dirty, wet, and useless. Air passed right through it. The first step our team took in this attic renovation was to remove all the old insulation.
Fallen Insulation
When fiberglass insulation gets damp, it gets heavy. This picture shows insulation that has fallen from its place due to its weight. Our SilverGlo rigid foam insulation overcomes the limitations of other attic energy upgrades, offering superior energy performance throughout the year as well as a neater, cleaner appearance and more usable attic space. Unlike fiberglass insulation, rigid foam won't absorb water or be damaged by it.
Air Sealing
Our team air sealed the attic before insulating it. We used expanding foam to get into all the cracks, ensuring that no air could escape the home.
SuperAttic System
After removing the existing insulation and air sealing the attic, we installed our innovative SuperAttic System. It uses SilverGlo rigid foam insulation to create an air and insulation barrier for optimum comfort and energy efficiency.
