We installed our SilverGlo rigid foam board insulation along with spray foam insulation in order to keep this basement free from air leakage and fluctuating temperatures.
Air Sealing
This photo shows an example of how the basement would be air sealed using orange foam. Air sealing your basement is instrumental in keeping your home warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. Air sealing prevents unwanted airflow that can cause your energy bill to increase.
