Insulating Cathedral Ceilings
Blown-in insulation is the perfect solution to add important R-value to the cathedral ceiling in this home. We started by removing two rows of shingles and cutting back a small section of roof sheathing.

Dense Packing Cellulose
A long fill tube is then inserted to reach the bottom of the ceiling plane and our TruSoft cellulose insulation is "dense packed" into each rafter bay.

A Warmer Home
Finally, the plywood and shingles are reinstalled. As a result, the room is warmer in the winter, cooler in the summer, less drafty, and more energy efficient!
