Old Insulation
This old fiberglass insulation was not doing its job. In order to work correctly, insulation needs to be in full contact with the area. Otherwise, pests, water vapor and unwanted airflow can get in.
Fallen Insulation
Fiberglass insulation has a tendency to become heavy and waterlogged after prolonged exposure to moist air. It then falls away from the area it is meant to be insulating and leaves it vulnerable to the elements.
Before Air Sealing
Before a home can be insulated, it needs to be air sealed. We use expanding foam sealant to ensure that all gaps are sealed and closed off.
