First, we air sealed any areas that could have cracks or openings. Air sealing limits unwanted airflow and helps keep the temperatures in the home more stable.

After we air sealed the crawl space, Dr. Energy Saver of Connecticut installed SilverGlo insulation in the attic to prevent any airflow or moisture entry. SilverGlo rigid foam board insulation is durable and won't lose R-value over time.
CleanSpace Vapor Barrier
We added our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to the crawl space to prevent moisture, humidity and air leakage. This durable liner can help seal out cold drafts and keeps floors warmer in the winter. The homeowner is very happy with his more energy efficient crawl space and attic!
